The Triangle Regional Transit Program is a comprehensive effort to explore transit rail opportunities and expanded busway networks in Wake, Orange, and Durham Counties in North Carolina. This video describes the corridors and technologies that will be evaluated during the Alternatives Analysis phase and reviews the many ways for the public to get involved.

During the second series of public workshops, Triangle Transit presented the regional transit planning efforts, goals and benefits of transit,  technology that might be used, and the overall project time table.  This is a set of slides narrated by a Triangle Transit staff member.

As the Triangle area continues to grow and mobility demands increase, local transportation systems must be improved. The Triangle Transit Program is a comprehensive effort to explore regional transit rail opportunities and expanded busway networks. There will be several series of public workshops around the region.

Participants in the TRTP public workshops were see the best performing corridors and alternative alignment maps for Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, as well as ask questions of Triangle Transit and consultant staff.
